The 2019 Fall Gala was held on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

In 2019, TCF gave over $100,000 in grants to local organizations, to assist with community projects. This happens because of the generous people who give to the Thompson Community Foundation.

Not only is this event a Fundraiser, but it is also an opportunity to recognize an outstanding citizen who has created a legacy within our community. The 'Order of Thompson' is modelled after the Order of Canada, and is awarded during the Gala. Thank you for joining us in the celebration, as Fred Palmer received the much-deserving 2019 Order of Thompson award!

Each year, tickets are $75.00 each and can be purchased at K.B. Insurance in the City Centre Mall and at the Thompson Community Foundation office (tcf@mymts.net). Tables of 8 people can also be reserved by contacting any Board member.

Corporate sponsors will receive 8 complimentary tickets, reserved seating for your business/organization with your logo advertised in our event pro...

By far our most symbolic and recognized fundraiser!

The Thompson Community Foundation sets up a Christmas Tree in the City Centre Mall for the month of December.  Each decoration on our Memorial Tree serves as a reminder of a loved one who has passed on.  It has become one of the most celebrated traditions for many people in Thompson.  For a donation of $10.00 or more, you will receive an ornament that has the name of the loved one you are honoring, and each decoration is then hung on our Christmas Tree.  It’s a touching way to remember those who are no longer with us during the holiday season and you know that your donations allow the Thompson Community Foundation to fund projects in our community that help many people in Thompson.  At Christmas time we cherish the opportunity to gather with friends and family to celebrate the Holiday season, but it can also be a time to remember those who are no longer with us, so you can donate "in the memory of..."

$52,247.13 raised in the Thomas Sill Foundation Challenge

The Thomas Sill Foundation Challenge!

The Thompson Community Foundation was presented with a generous and exciting offer in 2015!
The Thomas Sill Foundation of Winnipeg issued a challenge grant that matched at a rate of 1:2 to a maximum of $25,000 for every dollar raised locally over 2015/2016. That means we could leverage this amount if as a community we raised $50,000. We believed that with an enthusiastic response like in past challenges, Thompsonites can make it happen! And it did!

The Thomas Sill Foundation has been a driving force in the formation and support of the community foundation movement in our province, and they are always stepping up to encourage us to continue to grow our endowment fund.

We know the Thompson Community Foundation is important to you and we thank you most sincerely for your past contributions. We would like to thank everyone who made a donation and took full advantage of this generous offer...
